No need for a big suitcase and pricey plane ticket for your weekend enjoyment here are my picks of must see events happening in South Mississippi.

AKC Dog Show

The AKC Dog show is an excellent prelude to your weekend. Stationed at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum instead of people watching you'll be dog watching with more than 100 breeds of Singing River Kennel Club and Mobile Kennel Club dogs. Some of the coolest parts of this event are watching the dogs being groomed and seeing who wins best in show.
