Budget cuts force Waveland WIN Job Center to close

HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A center that helps Hancock County residents find work will soon be closed for business. The county WIN Job Center will stop providing services June 21, 2013.

The state department of employment security tells us 12 other WIN job centers in the state will also be shut down. These closures stem from a major funding cut from the U.S. Department of Labor.

Mississippians that still need help finding jobs can visit the Gulfport and Picayune WIN Job Centers. Or find more information online: http://mdes.ms.gov/win-job-centers
