JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - We have an update regarding the blood alcohol test results of an off-duty Pascagoula police officer and the death of a 16-year-old.
WLOX News has learned officer Daniel Snyder's blood test results and all of the evidence involved in this investigation has been processed and turned over to the district attorney's office. Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd told us that evidence should be presented to the next grand jury, which meets in June.
Kaytlynn Brann was struck and killed by an off-duty officer on February 22nd. She and a friend were walking on the pavement in Gulf Park Estates when Brann was hit on Pointe Aux Chenes Road.
