MOBILE, AL (WLOX) - Police say a Memorial day machete attack in Mobile, AL was sparked by a love triangle.
According to Mobile Police Corporal Christopher Levy, the suspect is 51-year-old Eric McFadden of Mobile.
Levy said the attack was sparked by an argument between the victim and the suspect at the 6800 block of Stinson Court in Mobile. He said the two were arguing because the victim claimed McFadden was dating his wife while he was in prison.
The argument took a turn when McFadden allegedly grabbed a machete from his home and cut the victim across his wrist.
The victim had only minor injuries and was treated by paramedics.
McFadden was arrested and charged with assault second degree.
