Waterspout spotted in MS Sound

PASS CHRISTIAN, MS (WLOX) -

Two WLOX viewers sent in pictures of this waterspout spotted Wednesday morning in the Mississippi Sound.

According to Doppler Radar Imagery, the waterspout was offshore near Long Beach and Pass Christian moving east at 35 knots.

It's associated with an approaching upper level low and thunderstorm complex.

Today, rain chances are 50 percent and highs are in the low to mid 80s. If you spot a waterspout take shelter because it could move on shore.
