BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A Biloxi family got a scare just before sunrise. Family members saw flames eating through the backyard shed. And then, that fire jumped to the neighboring home.
Biloxi firefighters got the structure fire call at 5:30 am. And they quickly drove to 390 Main Street.
The fire they had to battle destroyed the shed, and did minor damage to the second floor of the family's home. It took about 15 minutes to knock down the flames.
According to fire investigators, three people were home when the fire ignited. They all got out safely.
That investigator told WLOX News 55 gallon drums of diesel fuel were stored in the shed. How the fire started remains under investigation.
