PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a sedan in Phoenix Thursday morning.

Sgt. Trent Crump said an investigation was underway near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Van Buren Street.

The collision and investigation closed the westbound lanes of Van Buren about 7:45 a.m.

No other information was immediately available.
