3 armed bank robbers sought in Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Vicksburg police are searching for three men who robbed a bank Tuesday morning.

According to Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong, a robbery occurred around 11:40 a.m. at the Trustmark bank at 876 U.S. Highway 61 in Vicksburg.

Armstrong said three black males entered the bank armed with handguns. One man jumped the counter and demanded cash. The men fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured inside the bank.

Armstrong said two of the robbers were wearing black hoodies, and the other was wearing a white hoodie. One of the men was also wearing a mask.
