BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

The step-brother of a Biloxi teen shot to death in 2012 has been indicted for manslaughter.

Monday, a grand jury decided there was enough evidence for Jonathan Morales to stand trial. He's accused of shooting 13-year-old Sadie Warden.

Nearly a year ago, the Biloxi Junior High student was found on the ground outside a home on Michelle Drive. She had a single gunshot wound to the chest, and police were told she was shot during a drive-by. But after further investigation, investigators realized the drive-by story wasn't true and Sadie's step-brother became their prime suspect.

A trial date for Morales has not been set.
