Mobile woman accused of shoplifting in Gulfport

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

A Mobile woman was arrested Monday after allegedly shoplifting at a store at the Gulfport Premium Outlets.

According to Gulfport Police Deputy Chief Leonard Papania, 31-year-old Elizabeth Franklin was charged with one count of felony shoplifting.

Papania said Franklin took $500 worth of store items without paying. Franklin was arrested in the parking lot.

She was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility. Her bond was set at $20,000 by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner.
