GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

An unlikely visitor showed up at Lighthouse Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Gulfport Tuesday evening.

Bernell Farria III saw the gator and says the big reptile was found in the church's parking lot just off Dedeaux Road.

Farria's father said the gator was as long as a car. Authorities were on the scene and captured the gator.

Just three weeks ago a 400 pound alligator was captured off of Airport Road in Gulfport.
