BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police said US marshals caught fugitive Samuel Nicholas, also known as "Mista Cain," in Mississippi Monday night.

Nicholas is a Baton Rouge rapper accused of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder in the shooting death of Jordan Key, 18, on College Drive on June 30, 2012.

Another person on the scene was wounded and survived the shooting.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, a Crime Stoppers tip led the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force to Nicholas's location in Corinth, MS, which is near the Mississippi-Tennessee border.
