Civil Rights Tour In Deep South

A multi-state civil rights panel is in the deep south. The group is in Jackson this week on their tour across the country. Their purpose is to share and collect personal civil rights stories along the way.

Bennie Thompson, William Winter and former Governors Ray Mabus and Ronnie Musgrove were there to share their own stories.

The History Channel is filming parts of the tour and will air a documentary on the event  next February.

The tour stops in Hattiesburg next Monday.
