PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A second juror in the Jodi Arias murder trial has been released.

Court officials said juror No. 11 was released on Friday because of illness.

Last week, juror No. 5 was dismissed from the trial because of alleged misconduct. Arias' attorneys claimed "juror misconduct" was discovered during a closed proceeding, though they didn't cite specifics. Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens excused juror No. 5.

CBS 5 News spoke exclusively with the juror as soon as the trial wrapped for the day Thursday.

"It was a different experience definitely, but I was glad that I came back, that I was able to come back, and you know, be part of it again, so I'm looking forward to giving my interview and say my side of the story and go out there and say what really happened, but I need to get home first and talk to my legal advisers and go from there," juror No. 5 said in her first on-camera interview since being dismissed.

That left the jury with 11 men and six women, 12 of whom will eventually be selected at random to decide whether to convict Arias of first-degree murder in the death of her ex-lover Travis Alexander. We believe jury No. 11 is a man.

Meanwhile, psychotherapist Alyce LaViolette continued to answer questions from jurors on Friday morning.

Arizona is among a few states where jurors have the legal right to pose questions to witnesses through queries read by the judge. The questions ranged from how the witness could know that Arias wasn't lying to queries about Arias' childhood and her claims that the victim abused her.

Arias faces a potential death sentence if convicted of first-degree murder in the 2008 killing of Travis Alexander.

She says it was self-defense, but authorities say she planned the attack on her lover.
