BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A Biloxi man is under arrest, accused of carjacking a woman at the Shell station on the corner of DeBuys and Pass roads Wednesday night.

The victim told police she was pumping gas when a man threw her to the ground, jumped in her 2007 GMC Denali and began to drive off. The woman was able to pull her dog through an open back window before the driver got away.

What the carjacker didn't realize was the GMC Denali was equipped with OnStar, so officers were able to track the truck as it drove west on Interstate 10.

Dispatchers from the Biloxi Police Department worked with On-Star, the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol and the Hancock County Sheriff's Department to coordinate the capture. By the time the stolen GMC made it to the Mississippi-Louisiana state line, Hancock County Sheriff's deputies were waiting to arrest the driver.

Aundray Desaun Hall, 36, is charged with carjacking. He's being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
