AutoZone in Biloxi robbed at gunpoint on Sunday

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Biloxi police said the AutoZone on Beauvoir Road in Biloxi was robbed Sunday around 8:30 p.m.  According to Investigator Carl Short, police are looking for two suspects caught on surveillance cameras.

Short said two men showed store employees their semi-automatic hand guns, and then ordered them to head to a back room.

The suspects allegedly took all the money from the store and fled the scene on foot.

Short said the two suspects match the description of two people who were involved in numerous robberies in similar stores in surrounding states.

One suspect is a black male. He was last seen wearing a blue and red baseball cap, blue and white striped shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He has black hair, brown eyes and is approximately 5'10" – 6'. He is believed to be between 30 to 40-years-old.

The second suspect is a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is heavy set with a large, round head. He's approximately 5'09" – 5'11" and between the ages of 30 to 40-years-old. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt, black pants, black shoes and gloves.

The two suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Short said, don't attempt to apprehend the suspects.
