42nd annual pro-marijuana rally held at UM

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Thousands attended an annual rally on the University of Michigan campus aimed at celebrating marijuana and arguing for its legalization.

The 42nd Hash Bash was held Saturday in Ann Arbor.

University public safety spokeswoman Diane Brown tells AnnArbor.com (http://bit.ly/141gDA4 ) campus police made some arrests for marijuana possession, but she didn't have numbers.

The 90-minute rally featured a series of speakers who repeated calls for marijuana reform.

    Deputies in Polk County, FL arrested an impaired driver on Thursday night for hitting five students at their bus stop. Two of the five students were critically injured. The suspect, John Camfield, is a retired police office from Water Valley, MS.
