GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Sheldon Davenport, 19, of the 18000 block of Smith Road in Gulfport was arrested after a burglary Saturday, according to the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara Davenport is charged with felony residential burglary after allegedly burglarizing a home at the 18000 block of Robinson Road in Gulfport.

The victim told authorities several electronics were taken. Davenport allegedly took an Apple iPad and Acer laptop.

Major Ron Pullen said Davenport sold that laptop. The person who purchased it noticed something fishy about the laptop.

"The purchaser found items on the laptop that identified the victim," Davenport said.

That's when the purchaser contacted the victim via Facebook.

The victim then called authorities. Harrison County Sheriff's deputy Edward Walley recovered the laptop on Sunday. The stolen iPad was also recovered after a search warrant was executed at Davenport's home.

This investigation is ongoing. Pullen said other electronics were also stolen at the victim's home. More charges and arrests are pending. Investigators believe Davenport had an accomplice who they are trying to identify.

Davenport was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center under a $35,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner.
