Investigators say Monday morning fire was arson

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Authorities confirmed the fire that consumed a mobile home in Harrison County early Monday morning was set deliberately.

According to Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan the fire occurred around 12:37 a.m. at New Orleans Street, near Canal Road in Harrison County. Five people who lived in the trailer are now homeless. Luckily, no one was injured.

Sullivan said authorities have a suspect, but that suspect's identity hasn't been released.

Harrison County Fire Services and Lizana Fire Department worked with the Gulfport Fire Department to put out the blaze.
