Jackson woman accused of shooting repo man

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Jackson woman is behind bars charged with shooting a man who was trying to repossess her vehicle.

Ashley Bright, 31, has been charged with aggravated assault.

Jackson police officer Colendula Green says the victim and another person went to repossess a vehicle at the intersection of Terry Road and Raymond Road when a woman walked out of a house firing a weapon.

The unidentified victim was shot in the shoulder and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
