CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Clarksville police say a man who admitted to breaking into more than 25 cars just hours after he bonded out of jail last weekend has again been arrested after a run-in with officers.

Michael Ryan Frazier, 24, of Cunningham, TN, had first been booked early March 15 on charges of theft and evading arrest after he allegedly stole two flat-screen TVs from a Madison Street store in Clarksville.

He was later released on $3,000 bond.

Then about noon March 17, a cab driver told police Frazier claimed he couldn't pay his fare. Officers searched Frazier and found him with a checkbook allegedly stolen from one of the cars he later admitted to entering.

Investigators said Frazier had tried unsuccessfully to cash two of the checks at nearby financial institutions before getting into the cab.

In the second case, Frazier faces two counts of vehicle burglary and two counts of forgery.

He was released Sunday after posting $30,000 bond, police said, but he was back in custody Tuesday after another alleged incident.

Clarksville police say a business owner found Frazier allegedly stealing an energy drink on Madison Street, so the owner confronted the man.

Frazier ran from the store, and with the business owner chasing on foot, Frazier ran back into the store, broke a ceiling tile and climbed into the ceiling.

He soon crashed through the ceiling and hit the floor, but climbed back into the ceiling elsewhere in the store.

Officers arrived to find Frazier still inside the ceiling, but they were able to coax him down and arrest him.

In this third case, Frazier faces charges of theft, evading arrest, resisting arrest and felony vandalism. His new bond was set at $28,250.
