JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Jackson County investigators called to a domestic dispute Sunday broke up more than a fight. They also broke up an active meth lab.

Deputies arrested James Tyler Delancey, 19, of Lucedale, and his girlfriend Aimee Renee Maples, 36, of Pascagoula. Both are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and generation of hazardous waste. Delancey is also charged with aggravated domestic violence.

On Monday, the couple were still being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center awaiting a bail hearing.

If convicted of aggravated domestic violence, Delancey faces up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The drug charges each carry a penalty of up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
