BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A Biloxi man is behind bars after a burglary at D and C Beer and Cigarettes store Saturday around 11:25 p.m.
Ralph William Becker, 50, of Biloxi faces charges of commercial burglary and possession of burglary tools, according to Biloxi police investigator Steve Schlicht.
Schlicht said a Biloxi police officer patrolling the area near the Pass Road store heard an alarm go off. The officer headed towards the business and reportedly spotted Becker holding a bag by the back door of the business.
That's when the suspect ran, but was later caught.
Becker allegedly stashed his bag with store merchandise, cash and change. He also reportedly had a screwdriver in his pant's pocket.
He was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Judge Albert Fountain set Becker's bond at $50,000 per count.
