ANTHEM, AZ (CBS5) -

Leads generated by composite sketches of two robbery suspects have led to arrests in a March 1 holdup at an outlet store in Anthem.

Phoenix police said they began receiving tips immediately after the sketches were released to the media.

Officers said callers were able to identify one of the suspects, 36-year-old Michael Kaska. He was arrested Friday at 10:30 p.m.

Detectives said they were also able to identify 26-year-old Kyle Strippleman as the second suspect. After the service of search warrants on two homes, evidence of the robbery was recovered and both suspects were booked into jail in connection with a holdup at an Outlets at Anthem store.

The suspects pretended to be shoppers when they entered the Calvin Klein outlet store, officers said. The pair spent about one hour selecting many clothing items from the displays, Phoenix police spokesman Officer James Holmes said.

The suspects approached the checkout counter and one of the men displayed a handgun and ordered two employees into a dressing room, Holmes said. When the victims heard the main doors to the store closing, they ran to an emergency exit and escaped.

The suspects escaped the area with a large amount of merchandise, Holmes said.
