PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A driver is OK after his vehicle landed in a Phoenix-area canal following an apparent two-car crash, Phoenix fire authorities said.

Phoenix fire and police officials are at the scene of the crash near 99th Avenue and Indian School Road.

At least one person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. It's not known if the victim was the driver of the car in the canal or an occupant of the other vehicle.

No other information is available at this time.
