11 arrested, 1 on the run in Vancleave drug bust

VANCLEAVE, MS (WLOX) -

A yearlong investigation into a meth ring resulted in 11 arrests Wednesday. But one suspect, 31-year-old Cody Delos Pawlak, managed to get away from the scene and is now on the run from authorities.

According to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd, DEA agents spent a year gathering information about the Vancleave meth operation. Twelve Vancleave residents were indicted on a charge of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to distribute.

Officials from the DEA, Jackson County Criminal Investigations Division, Jackson County K9 Unit, Jackson County Patrol Division and the Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County began rounding up the suspects at 6am.

Alex Lee McDowell, 43
Karla Franzine Joseph, 43
Brandi Lynne Henrickson, 23
Margaret Katherine McClain, 51
Billy Ray Crawford, 35
Summer Lynn Seymour, 28

If you know the whereabouts of Cody Delos Pawlak, call the Narcotic Division of Jackson County at (228) 769-3302 or the Jackson County Sheriff's Department at (228) 769-3063 or the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration at 1-800-882-9539.

If convicted of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to distribute, each person faces up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
