CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Clarksville man has been indicted in connection with the death of a 5-month-old child.

Jacobi Pender, 29, was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree murder.

When officers arrived at Pender's Fox Hole Drive home, the child had already been removed from the residence by emergency responders and was pronounced dead at the scene.

After a police investigation, it was determined to be a homicide and Pender was later arrested.

He was booked into Montgomery County Jail and is being held on $150,000 bond.
