A Jackson teen is behind bars after police say he shot another teen over a dice game.

The incident happened Saturday night in the 2600 block of Key Street in south Jackson

JPD says the 18-year-old victim ran from the scene after being shot twice with a small handgun. He reportedly got a ride to the hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting suspect was arrested at the scene and a gun was recovered.

This was the second shooting in three days over a dice game in south Jackson, according to police. Thursday night a man and woman were killed and two other men were injured in a shooting during a dice game.
