280 members of NMCB 74 returned home to South Mississippi Sunday night after seven months in Fallujah, Iraq.
Among there accomplishments, this group of Seabees helped rebuild roads, hospitals, schools, and government buildings.
They also taught Iraqi men the tools of the construction trade.
The Seabees are committed to operations in Iraq for at least the next 24 months.
These Seabees will be home for the next ten months before their next deployment.
Their return comes just one day after another group of Gulfport Seabees arrived back home Saturday night after spending eight months in Spain and other parts of Europe.
The next group of Seabees is expected to return August 25th.
