Boo Hardy has his Red Rebels clicking at the right time, the playoffs. Harrison Central took out Hattiesburg, Biloxi and beat Gulfport to claim the 6A South State Championship.
Senior Chris White is a force to be reckoned with. He's netting 17.9 points and pulling down just over 14 rebounds per game.
He says the Red Rebels have momentum on their side.
White said, "As soon as the playoffs started we started to click. We were going through a slump when the 2013 season started but we're doing like the team that won the state playoffs last year. We click in the playoffs and beat the team that beat us during the regular season."
Hardy says White is a key to the Red Rebels success.
"Chris has been exceptional and wonderful for us," Hardy said. He added, "White is doing great things, like rebounding and scoring and he's also blocking shots."
Jalen Moore has been Harrison Central top gun, netting almost 21 points per game while dishing out 4.5 assists. The senior attributes his success to coach Hardy.
More said, "My ninth grade year I didn't do much. But my 10th and 11th grade year he pushed me to what I am right now, having the best year of my life."
Ashton Arnold has come on strong of late, an outstanding play maker and is capable of connecting from long range.
Asean Davis is another player who has helped the Red Rebels excel as they take aim on the 6A State Championship
