BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The new L'Auberge Casino in Baton Rouge took in $10.6 million dollars in January, nearly matching the combined revenue of the city's two other casinos.

According to figures released Thursday, L'Auberge took in $10.67 million in January 2013, compared to $4.53 million at the Belle of Baton Rouge casino, and $6.46 million at Hollywood Casino.

The January revenue figures amounted to a 23% percent drop in year-to-year revenue for the Belle and a 30% year-to-year drop for Hollywood when comparing the January 2013 figures to the same month in 2012.   L'Auberge opened in September 2012.

Figures show the Belle admitted 67,446 guests in January compared to 69,171 at Hollywood and 114,788 at L'Auberge.
