Judicial Corruption Trial Delayed Again

Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Oliver Diaz, his ex-wife Jennifer, Biloxi attorney Paul Minor, and former Harrison County Judges Wes Teel and John Whitfield are all accused of accepting gifts or cash,  in exchange for favorable court rulings. Minor and Diaz are also accused of extortion.

Judge Henry Wingate is delaying the trial because Teel and Minor's attorneys say they need more time to prepare. Government prosecutors and defense attorneys will meet with the judge in Jackson August 20th to decide on a new trial date.
