KENTWOOD, LA (WAFB) -

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating what they're calling an apparent murder-suicide that happened early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened in Kentwood, LA on Pittman Road. Officials say it appears to be a murder-suicide, however, a final ruling on the case will not be determined until the autopsy's have been completed.

A 30-year-old male and a 26-year-old female were found dead at the home on Pittman Road.

No other information on this incident has been released at this time.
