Mom accused of driving drunk with children

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Clarksville woman is accused of driving drunk with her children at a drive-thru restaurant Wednesday morning, according to a report in the Leaf Chronicle newspaper.

An employee at the restaurant on Fort Campbell Boulevard said Melissa Karcher, 26, appeared inebriated and confused.

Karcher is facing multiple charges including driving on a suspended license, driving under the influence and child abuse/neglect.

The 9 year old and 2 month old were released into their father's custody.
