Architecture firm has more than tripled its staff since 2009, focuses on education facility design.
Tulsa, Oklahoma (PRWEB) February 13, 2013
KSQ Architects announced its 25th anniversary this month, along with tremendous growth that more than tripled its staff in the last three years during a time when many architecture firms found themselves floundering in a weak economy.
With three offices in Oklahoma, Texas and New York, the firm attributes most of its growth to a strong base of collegiate projects throughout the country. Most recently, the firm completed work on a modern new student center for Oral Roberts University in Tulsa.
“From almost day one our firm has provided planning and design services for universities,” said principal and director David Short, AIA. “Especially in the area of student housing, university administrators are looking at ways to attract students in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Just since 2009, our staff has more than tripled in order to keep up.”
In addition to the ORU student center, the firm is currently designing new student housing for Stony Brook University, Southern Methodist University and Oklahoma State University. KSQ Architects also was recently named the district architect for Greenwich Public Schools in Greenwich, Conn.
