HATTIESBURG, MS (WLOX) -
Campus police at the University of Southern Missisippi (USM) in Hattiesburg declared a State of Emergency for the campus Sunday night.
Students are asked not to return to USM's Hattiesburg campus until further notice.
According to the University of Southern Mississippi web page, there are no reports of injuries.
USM's website also posted this:
Damage has been confirmed to Jazz Station, Mannoni Performing Arts Center, Ogletree Alumni House and Elam Arms, which is vacant. Please avoid those areas of campus. Electricity is available on the Freshman Quad area of campus.
