Two fugitive brothers wanted out of Tennessee were captured around 6:30 Thursday morning according to Pearl River Sheriff's Department. According to Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison, Jessy and Jeffrey Marchbanks were caught at the corner of Ozona Richardson Road and Richardson Road just after sunrise. GONZALES, LA (WAFB) -
Three alleged drug dealers are off the street after an investigation by the Ascension Sheriff's Office.
Ezikeo Freeman, 35, Brandon Boudreaux, 30, and Troy Freeman, 24, are each facing multiple charges relating to marijuana.
On Wednesday, narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at the home of Ezikeo Freeman and Boudreaux on Mark Pierce Road.
According to reports, when detectives arrived, Boudreaux tried to drive away. After leading investigators on a short chase in the vehicle, he fled on foot carrying a bookbag. Boudreaux was caught a short time later. The bag had a loaded pistol and over a pound of marijuana inside.
Troy Freeman was arrested after detectives say they found marijuana and a scale in his car.
Ezikeo Freeman was not home at the time, but later turned himself in.
Inside the home, detectives say they found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Troy Freeman has been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Boudreaux has been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, illegal carrying of weapons, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.
Ezikeo Freeman has been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The three men are in Ascension Parish Jail. Their bonds have not been set.
