BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -
A pending drug charge against coast businessman W.C. "Cotton" Fore has been dismissed. The charge was dropped Thursday after results from the state crime lab showed the substance found in his possession was not cocaine.
You may recall, Fore was arrested by Biloxi Police the night of January 17th and charged with domestic assault and drug possession. Fore maintained the powdery substance found by police was nitroglycerin for a heart condition.
Fore's attorney, Tim Holleman, said his client also looks forward to proving his innocence on the misdemeanor assault. A trial on that charge will be held in April.
