HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -
Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisloara released the identities of all four people involved in two vehicle wreck on Edwin Ladner Road in West Harrison County Wednesday morning.
Brisolara said the accident happened around 10 a.m. at Edwin Ladner Road in between Kiln-Delisle Road and Sixteen Section Road.
Three family members were riding in a Trailblazer and one person was driving a pick-up truck when the vehicles collided.
Brisolara said 23-year-old Jessica K. Caccioppo was driving the Trailblazer. She was last listed in stable condition. Two others were riding in the Trailblazer. One of them was Christoper B. Caccioppo who was on life support and listed in critical condition. The third passenger was 2-year-old Jonathan Brown Jr. He was listed in critical condition at Ochsner's Medical Center with multiple fractures and a possible traumatic brain injury.
The driver of the pick-up truck was 49-year-old Lew A. Miller. He was listed in stable, but critical condition.
"It appears to be a head-on collision," Brisolara said.
Brisolara said an investigation is ongoing; however preliminary findings lead investigators to believe speed and road conditions were factors in the crash.
