Safety precautions are being put in place as Biloxi prepares for the upcoming Mardi Gras parades.
Monday, the city's Public Works Department started putting up the temporary orange fencing along the parade routes to protect people and city property.
Over the next few days, crews will be rolling out the caution tape.They'll also set-up 1,400 steel and wooden barricades along with orange traffic cones.
