Rams look to continue winning ways at home

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany State continues an important homestand with a doubleheader against Claflin College on Saturday.

After losing their first five SIAC games, the Rams have won two of their last three.

Both of those wins came on their home court and head coach Chris Cameron knows his team can move up the standings with two more home conference games.

The recent wins have been a big boost the young ASU team has needed but they also know they still have room to improve.

"We are just trying to get the guys to see their mistakes. Take responsibility for those mistakes. Come out and try to improve on those mistakes.  If they are doing those things, we feel we have a good chance at winning," said head coach Chris Cameron.

The Lady Rams play Claflin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday and the men will play around 3:00 p.m. at ASU's HPER Gym.
