(RNN) - When reporters and animals collide, hilarity generally ensues.

So found a reporter from Sarasota, FL when she climbed into a pen of goats at the Manatee County Fair.

WWSB reporter Linda Carson was taping a piece on livestock at the fair.

As she was wrapping her report, noting that the goats "are very friendly," one proved he was in no mood to make friends, charging her and knocking her over.

Carson didn't let the incident get her goat, though. After a momentary shriek, she laughed it off, saying she was not hurt.

"Did you get it?" she asked her photographer, laughing.

"Oh, I got it," the photographer said.

"I didn't know whether keep rolling or get in there and help," he joked.

According to WWSB, Carson was "thankful to learn afterwards that the sawdust and straw that she landed on was fresh and the animals had not soiled it yet."
