ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Two women, one of whom is pregnant, and a toddler came away with only minor cuts after wrecking into a cow on FM 2251 Thursday night.

Trooper Marc Slocum said the trio were in a 2006 Nissan Sentra and hit the cow on FM 2251, at the intersection of 2021 around 8:15 p.m.

The toddler was not injured and the two women suffered only minor cuts and scratches from the cow shattering the front windshield.

All three were taken to Lufkin hospitals to be treated for the minor injuries.

The cow was still alive but lying in a ditch while crews cleared the scene.
