BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) -

Today is the last day to help Bay St. Louis win a national contest as the "Coolest Small Town in America."

Budget Travel magazine recently took in 924 nominations from across the country, and narrowed those down to their top 15. Bay St. Louis made the cut and is now competing for the top prize.

Whether it is the colorful shops, one of a kind restaurants, or vibrant atmosphere that grabbed the magazine's attention locals say it is no surprise the city made the list.

Mockingbird Café Manager Laura Hurt said, "Most of my friends here were volunteers that live here now because they fell in love with it, and anybody who visits does. It's great, we've got a nice quiet beach, it's not crazy crowded, it's nice."

Here's where you come in: The winner will be determined by an online poll, and Friday, February 15 is the last day to vote.
