ARP, TX (KLTV) -

Many East Texans voted to help Arp Elementary School win a playground.

Right now, their campus is lacking a structure for students to play on.

The school entered a grant contest to win the funding for a playground and thanks to your votes, they quickly moved from number 57 to number 3. Unfortunately, the school just learned that they did not win any grants.

However, Arp Elementary is not giving up. They have teamed up with Mooyah Burger in Tyler. If you eat at the restaurant on Tuesday, January 29 between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., you can help.

Mooyah Burger has agreed to donate a portion of their sales between those hours to helping Arp Elementary with the funds to build a playground.
