On Monday "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts says that she'll be back on the show soon.
The 52-year-old Pass Christian native and former WLOX sports reporter said she expects to return in a limited role in the coming weeks and hopes to be back full-time next month.
Roberts has been on medical leave recovering from a bone marrow transplant for myelodysplastic syndrome, which is a rare blood disorder.
Roberts tweeted this Monday morning, "Miracle Monday. No froggy slippers needed this morning. Wide awake and looking forward to seeing you soon on."
She made the live announcement during an interview from her New York City apartment.
