BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -
A Florida man is behind bars after allegedly leading police on a chase that started in Biloxi and ended on I-10 in Jackson County Wednesday night.
Biloxi police said, 49-year-old Craig William Weil of Gulf Breeze, FL fled police due to having a suspended license. Lt. Bobby Darden said Weil traveled at speeds of 100 miles per hour and ran two vehicles off the road.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department assisted Biloxi police in the chase. No one was injured during the chase.
Harrison County Justice Court Judge Bruce Strong set Weil's bond at $25,000.00 and Weil incarcerated in the Harrison County Adult Detention Center pending bond.
