SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) -

The smell of the dirt, the thrill of the unknown. Get an up close and personal view of cowboys and cowgirls working horses and livestock at the Professional Cowboy Association Finals at the Coliseum. They've competed all year to qualify for a place in one or several events like bareback riding, break away roping, barrel racing and the ever popular bull riding where riders must hang on for dear life for at least eight seconds. They also have to make a swift get away when the bull bucks them off.
