OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) -
A convicted felon from Connecticut was arrested Monday for a charge of DUI refusal, according to the Ocean Springs Police Department.
An Ocean Springs police officer noticed Seadon K. Faulkner driving a white Ford Ranger without headlights. When the officer stopped Faulkner, he learned the suspect was under the influence of an intoxication beverage. That's when Faulkner was asked if he would give a breath sample on the intoxilyzer, but he reportedly refused.
The officer also said Faulkner had a firearm in his truck. An identification check through NCIC showed, he was also a convicted felon out of Connecticut.
In addition to the DUI refusal charge, the suspect was also charged with operating a motor vehicle without headlights and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He is currently being held at the Ocean Springs City jail awaiting bond.
