For an adult night out this January, now’s the perfect time to see that little firecracker Roxie Hart in Chicago the Musical. For something new this season, check out The Mystery of Edwin Drood. New York Museums
It’s cold outside and the holidays are over. Now is the time to take advantage of the great museums in New York City. Some popular exhibitions at top NYC museums end this month, see them before they head out. Christian Marclay - The Clock is still at the Museum of Modern Art until January 25. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is still exhibiting Designing Nature - The Rinpa Aesthetic in Japanese Art until January 13. See the Picasso Black and White exhibit at the Guggenheim until January 23. They’re still running extended hours on select Sundays and Mondays through January 21.
Luckily, New York has two basketball teams. See the Brooklyn Nets this January at Barclays Center. A few notable games this month in New York City include the Suns, the Grizzlies and the Miami Heat. Catch the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden all month long too. The Knicks are starting the month off strong in NYC with a game against the Celtics, followed by matchups like the Bulls, the Hornets, the Magic and the Clippers. Then on January 21st, the Knicks and the Nets are playing each other. Get NYC basketball tickets for any of the games this month.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Parade has been taking place annually in January since 1986 in New York City. The parade travels up 5th Avenue (between 61st and 86th) with floats and tributes to one of the most important historical figures in American history.
